Registration

Please note that the early registration date has now fallen away - there will NOT be a penalty for registration after September 30. However, we would appreciate it if intending delegates were to register as soon as possible - to allow us to make proper preparations for the meeting, and to do so in good time.
All details of registration, accommodation and tourism will be handled by UCT Conference Management Centre (CMC). To register and to reserve accommodation and tours, please complete the relevant Forms(click here) on the CMC's conference page.
All delegates are invited to a cocktail party at the conference venue on Sunday 13 November, at which time the registration desk will be open and conference bags can be collected.
The Conference Dinner will be held on Thursday 17 November at the Moyo restaurant on the Spier wine estate near Stellenbosch. It will be an informal affair with various forms of entertainment. Buses will be provided to take you to the venue and to return you to Cape Town later in the evening.

Accommodation

Block bookings at various hotels have now been closed. You will have to select your own accommodation. CMC (ckotze@curie.uct.ac.za) will assist you with making reservations. In any case, please let CMC know where you have made reservations so that we can maintain a complete record for all delegates. The accompanying MAP shows the disposition of various hotels in Cape Town with respect to the conference venue (CTICC). As a guide, the Breakwater Lodge is 10-15 minutes' walk from CTICC.

Tours on Free Afternoon

There are no meetings on Wednesday afternoon so you can spend some time exploring Cape Town and/or its environs. There is a map of Cape Town in the Tours section of the CMC's conference page that will help you to orient yourself.

Abstract Submission

The meeting will have two parts - some general reviews and some parallel sessions. Normally, only invited speakers will make oral presentations in the general part of the meeting, but posters can be displayed by any delegates. Both oral and poster presentations will be possible in the parallel sessions. Please indicate the appropriate session for your contribution. Complete the abstract submission form , and refer to the Significant Dates for deadline information.
