Summary:
Resident observer / Director of Yale Observatory between 1925 and 1945.
History:
Dr Alden also studied variable stars, asteroids and the
satellites of stars. His main focus at Yale was the parallax of
stars.
When
Alden moved back to America he became a council member of the American
Astronomical Society between 1946 and 1949.
