  • Location (Longitude, latitude, altitude)

A Brief Summary

  • Noted for (A list of the most notable achievements and/or other aspects, whatever they may be, that the Observatory is associated with)
  • Summary (the reason for the institution's existence, as well as a short overview, so that the reader can at a glimpse get an idea about the institution without having to read through all the information)

Historical background

  • History (details about the institution. This includes a list of Directors, list of achievements/discoveries and famous astronomers associated with observatory.
  • Instruments (list of instruments that used to belong / are still being used by the observatory)
  • Projects (research programmes undertaken)

Sources

  • Pictorial sources (photos/paintings/drawings)
  • Bibliography (sources where information contained on this page can be verified)
