Environment and mergers are thought to affect the HI content of galaxies. Using a cosmological hydrodynamic simulation that includes a heuristic galactic outflow model, we are going to look closely the action of these two. In terms of environment, M_halo= 10^12 M_sun is a transition mass beyond which the distribution of gas fraction of galaxies become bimodal and drops significantly at higher halo mass. Mergers increase the star formation above the expected rise from gas fluctuation.
