Abstract

The rapidly rotating standard Ae star Vega has been observed during 5 nights with the highly stabilized velocimeter/spectrograph Sophie at OHP/ France. New insights on stellar oscillations in that category of stars have been searched for and are presented in that presentation. The detailed study of photospheric lines variations enabled us to conclude on the stellar rotation period, providing a direct answer to a longlasting polemics between spectroscopists and interferometrists. I will finish the talk with a presentation of the Neo-Narval project, a highly radial velocity stabilised spectropolarmeter.
