Bruno Letarte

Bruno did his PhD at the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute in Groningen, the Netherlands.  He joined the SAAO in November 2009 after his first postdoc at Caltech in the USA.  He is interested in the resolved stellar population of local group galaxies, from high resolution chemical abundances of individual stars, to kinematics and multi-wavelength photometric surveys.  His thesis, entitled "Chemical analysis of the Fornax Dwarf galaxy", is available online at the following link:
