NODDY
Noddy is a 1955 Series 1 pick-up with a 2.25L petrol engine.
The vehicle was a long wheel base but has been shortened at some stage in its live.  The conversion was however quite successful.  We like the bit more space that the overhang gives us since the vehicle is used daily and must perform a lot of  old 'Land Rover functions'.
In some of the above images the cabin was removed and a tarpaulin cover put on. We do this when the weather allows it.

White Rangie
The White Rangie
The rangie has been with us for many years and is a real pleasure to use.
It is a 1980 model with just about everything standard.
Since we do a lot of long distance driving the petrol tank was changed to a 120l tank.
We have recently replaced the tank with a 100l stainless steel tank.  The old tank simply erroded away.  We are not sure if it was the best way to go with the stainless tank, we have heard that they crack after a few years.
The tank has a strong cover capable of taking the full weight of the vehicle to prevent damage.
The self-levelling unit failed and we did a Boge-to-coil-conversion.
Both vehicles leak oil at the normal places and our white labrador can vouch for it.

The Discovery is our latest and we are still trying to get used to it.  After the S1 landy it is quite different.
