Would a dimensioned drawing of the mount be OK? For scaling it down I should probably include a few measurements of the telescope as well. If you can get hold of back copies of Sky & Telescope, try and get March 1986 (p303-306). I took a lot of ideas from the telescope of Joe Pearson (700 Teal Place, Edmond, Okla. 73034) desribed in a very nicely illustrated article (sorry, no dimensions) - maybe try and search under his name for a website. This same telescope was also discribed in Telescope Making #27 (p32-37). Another good article was in Telescope Making #43 (p12-17). A very nice drawing (without dimensions again) of the telescope by Luis A. Harris, President of the Asociacian Panameda, de Aficionados a la Astronia, Panama, R.P. (another one to search for perhaps). > If you need any advice on how to > build a Dob. base then just ask. Thanks, it must have been an experience to be lectured by the man himself!! Cheers Willie
