I plan to make a split-ring mount. Would like to know the dimension of the 8 truss-tubes (inner and outer diameter). How did you get the rubber plugs and clamps used in the bottom truss clamping arrangement? Parts from old cars picked up at a junkman ? Many ATMers find useful parts in this way. That is almost the only way to get it cheap. Plywood is also expensive, unless you get some stub ends. Also would like some more details about your 9-point floating system for the mirror-cell, your auto-collimator and center-mark. I hope a split ring-mount also is suitable for my lattitude of 60 degrees. Thanks in advance ! Regards Harald Ringsevjen
