NOTE:

  • TRAKSTAR must be configured to do predictions in local time when used with CoSaTrak.
  • See the DOC file included with TCONVERT for Greg's tips on using TRAKSTAR with CoSaTrak.
  • TRAKSTAR output is more accurate than QUICKSAT's and should be preferred where accuracy is important, eg. with a small field of view.
  • However, TRAKSTAR has some shortcomings compared to QUICKSAT - see Prediction Software on Greg's page.
  • CoSaTrak and TCONVERT were developed round TRAKSTAR ver 2.65 output and newer versions might not work if the output file format changed.
